Smt. P.R. Vadhar Artificial Limb Centre

What is it?

Established in 1987, the Smt. P.R. Vadhar Artificial Limb Centre by PNR Society is a unique establishment that produces artificial limbs and provides them to the needy at minimal cost or even free.
 
Accidental loss of human limbs requires replacement.  A workshop has been crafted by PNR society where artificial limbs are manufactured.  Outpatient department takes care of each and every individual.  Funds are raised to distribute aids and appliances manufactured in this workshop among the physically disabled, free of any charge.


What do we do?
 
The limbs produced are custom designed to suit the needs of the disabled and provide maximum mobility so as to have the least impact on the daily life of the individual. These limbs include:

  • Artificial hands and legs
  • Calipers
  • Knee-braces
  • Crutches
  • Fracture braces
  • Ls braces
  • Splint cross leg
  • Appliances for the disabled
